Commitment

Netoum OÜ aims to make this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification, high contrast, or reduced motion.

We design and build toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is part of delivery for Accessible Site and Accessible Web App work, not an optional add-on.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 define three levels: A, AA, and AAA. We target Level AA for this marketing site.

Status: we work to keep netoum.com conforming to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We re-check key pages when we publish meaningful changes. If we find a barrier, we document it under Known limitations and plan a fix.

Scope

This statement covers the public pages of netoum.com in English and French, including navigation, forms, dialogs, and visitor accessibility preferences.

It does not cover third-party sites we only link to (for example GitHub or Hexdocs), or content hosted outside our control.

What you can expect on this site

  • Clear page titles and a logical heading order so structure is easy to understand.
  • Keyboard access to menus, dialogs, forms, and primary actions, with a visible focus state.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images marked so assistive tech can skip them.
  • Colour contrast that meets AA in the default theme, with a high-contrast preference available.
  • Support for browser zoom and a larger-text preference without breaking layout.
  • A reduced-motion preference for visitors who prefer less animation.
  • Language switching between English and French without losing the page context.

You can open reading preferences from the header (accessibility control) to adjust text size, contrast, motion, cursor, focus, and link underlining. Choices are saved in this browser.

Technologies

This site is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Core interactions use accessible patterns from Corex UI. Content is published as static pages with progressive enhancement.

Assessment

We assess accessibility through a mix of:

  • Manual keyboard checks on key templates before publish
  • Screen reader spot checks on primary flows
  • Automated checks in our test suite and build process
  • Review of colour, focus, and motion against WCAG 2.2 AA

Accessible Site packages also include a plain-language handoff report of what we checked for your pages.

Known limitations

Some third-party content, embedded samples, or future user-supplied media may not meet the same standard. Illustrative UI samples on marketing pages are meant to show product patterns; if a sample creates a barrier, tell us and we will fix or clarify it.

We note known issues when we find them and work to remove barriers on this site.
